PDA Secure named a finalist in Best of COMDEX competition

LAS VEGAS (November 16, 2001)…Trust Digital LLC is proud to announce that its new PDASecure application, showcased this week at COMDEX, was named a finalist in the Best of COMDEX competition in the Security Applications division. PDASecure helps corporations protect the data that is stored on their employees' handheld computers through password protection, multiple levels of data encryption and a host of administrative control features. Considering the high interest in security products at COMDEX this year, Trust Digital is honored to be named among the best in this category.

One of the complex tasks associated with managing handheld devices in an enterprise is disseminating security policy changes to all workers' devices. Trust Digital's new PDASecure Policy Editor™ was very well received by the judges and other members of the media who sought out Trust Digital to discuss the topic of data security. PDASecure Policy Editor is designed to work in conjunction with the company's PDASecure Enterprise™ security software that was introduced for Palm OS handheld devices late last year. With PDASecure Policy Editor installed on a server in a network, and with PDASecure Enterprise™ installed on each PDA, an organization's security or network administrator can push security policies to every PDA device. A company will be able to use PDASecure to strengthen its data security on PDAs regardless of whether the devices are wirelessly connected to the network or are synchronized directly to the network through personal computers.
